They’re both from Texas and got some new albums to promote! Watch out for the most unlikely but incredibly exciting co-headlining trek this summer! The Crooner & the Cowboy Tour brings two phenoms who are at the forefront in their lane. Leon Bridges is a wunderkind known for his penchant for soul and R&B. The man’s got a lot of hits and he’s ready to bust it all out on this run. Leon Bridges came out with his latest album, Leon. So expect this multi talented performer belt out some new titles, including “Peaceful Place,” “That’s What I Love,” and “Laredo.” But you’ll also catch some classics including platinum selling titles, “Coming Home,” “River,” and some highly rated hits like “July” and “Texas Sun.”
Meanwhile, Charley Crockett recently came out with his new album, Lonesome Drifter. The blues rock sensation busted out the title track, which performed well on Billboard’s AAA chart. Fans will get to experience this new album performed live as Crockett conquers the big stage. Expect a combination of new and older hits. The Grammy winning singer-songwriter dropped his debut album Coming Home in 2015. Critics praised Bridges for his incredible take on 60s soul. Soon enough Bridges was gaining incredible traction with Coming Home entering the list of “Albums to Look Forward To” by the New York Times. Bridges debut album was quick to enter the Billboard chart, peaking at number 6 and selling over a million copies in the U.S. alone. His subsequent releases also earned incredible success. His sophomore effort Good Thing received a Grammy nomination, while its leading single “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand,” won the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Charley Crockett also released his debut album, A Stolen Jewel, in 2015. The album which gained praises from both critics and fans, helped Crockett earned the Dallas Observer Music Award for Best Blues Act. An independent artist since day 1, Crockett has gained his niche following after touring extensively. Soon enough Crockett dropped several highly compelling and notable records, Lonesome as a Shadow, his first effort to chart on the Billboard Countdown. In 2024, Crockett topped the Heatseekers chart with his 14th album, $10 Cowboy.
