That's right, the trio that is Wallows comes to Freedom Hill Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 31st, 2024
Responsible for the insane, mega hit, the triple platinum, “Are You Bored Yet,” Wallows, bring you yet another fantastic album, Model, out soon. It also features the catchy earworm, “Your Apartment,” and they just dropped the second single, “Calling After Me,” which you can see, and hear down below.
Need something because you're getting “Supalonely”? How about some “Glitter,” to go on that “Green Honda,” to make ya giggle? That's right, you guessed it, joining Wallows on the road around the U.S. is none other than the Kiwi pop star, Benee!!!
Way back when, the boys of Wallows promised a tour, and they are sticking to their promises! But, not just any tour, no, the Modal Tour, to support their new album will be big, bigger than anything they have ever done before... Arena rock, in actual arenas, all over the country, playing 38 dates, includes stops at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, LA’s Kia Forum, Red Rocks, Las Vegas, Boston, and San Diego and more, before heading off to play in Paris, Brussels, and five other European countries, and then still more around the U.K... Epic.
“I can confidently say this is the first time that I’m really anticipating a tour announcement,” Dylan Minnette said at the announcement. “I’m more nervous than ever — but not in a negative way. I know it’s going to go well. I know our fans show up, but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it every day.” They also posted on their socials, "We can’t wait to get back on the road and play our biggest and best shows yet."
The band got so hyped about this tour, they even made a horror-esque haunted-stadium promo video for it. The mysterious 12-minute short film directed by Nina Ljeti and filmed at the Kia Forum is truly something you HAVE to see, head on over to YouTube to find it.
With the release of the insanely catchy single, “Your Apartment” last month, the band, and you, should be getting super excited, as its already become their highest streaming debut to date. The second single, “Calling After Me” has literally just dropped, and you should watch the video down below. The brand-new album, Model, arrives on May 24th.
“We want this to be the most approachable album we’ve made. I want people to put this on if they’re not really a fan of us, and be gripped immediately,” Dylan Minnette stated in an interview. “We don’t want to take too much of their attention, but we want to keep it. We keep them the whole time and make them want to come back.”
